What we're doing together

For every item you purchase from dar Grana, we donate one meal through our partner, Pious Projects. Pious Projects has been on the ground in Gaza for years and, since October 2023, has provided daily hot meals to families facing extreme hardship. They currently oversee 10 kitchens each day, bringing warm, nourishing meals to communities across northern, central, and southern Gaza. Some days, kitchens have to close because of a lack of funds.

Where the meals are served

Kitchen locations are chosen carefully based on safety, often in schools, shelters, or temporary tents. Each kitchen adapts to local needs, and meals vary with the ingredients available: hearty soups, beans, and lentils, or dishes with rice, chicken, meat, freekeh, or bulgur. Every meal brings nourishment and comfort.

The situation on the ground

Families across the Gaza Strip face unimaginable challenges every day. Humanitarian aid remains far below what is needed, and many families live in overcrowded makeshift shelters, sometimes just 20 square meters for six people, where cooking, sleeping, and storing belongings all happen in the same space. Parents and children still risk their lives for a small ration of food, often walking for hours or standing in long, dangerous lines.
